Pre heat the oven to 180. Line a baking tin with baking paper (I used a roasting tin as I had no baking tin). Melt the butter and chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water, making sure the the bowl is not touching the water. Take the bowl off the heat and cool, then mix in 225g caster sugar. Beat in 3 medium eggs one by one and at this point your mixture should look like the picture above. Then mix in the flour. Set aside and whisk together the soft cheese, 2 medium eggs and the rest of the caster sugar in a seperate bowl. Drop alternate spoonfuls of each mixture into the lined tin and swirl using a skewer to give a marbled effect. If you don’t have any skewers you can use a teaspoon. Sprinkle the cherry halves over the mixture and place in the middle shelf in the oven. Bake for 35mins. At this point check on your brownie. It may need up to double the time in the oven as mine did. If the top begins to burn whilst the middle is still not ready place foil over the top and continue baking. Remove from the oven and leave to cool on a wire rack. When set remove from tin and cut into edible squares. Et viola!
To give my brownies that extra look I wrapped each one in brown paper and tied with pretty ribbons. Now I am all set for the BBQ today, shame the weather is looking a little bleak :/ please come out to play Mr. Sunshine!!
In other news…
Murphy met his cousin Star who is a toy poodle. Varun took him to his aunt and uncle’s for dinner and they had a great time together. As you can see they are very similar dogs:
We went into town earlier in the day yesterday and I got myself some material to try sewing myself a whole garment. Its a light white material with pretty pink flowers and was only £3.99 for a metre! I think its going to take me quite some time :/ I know how I want to do it but not sure its going to be perfect or measure up quite right. Look out for the post to see how I get on.

Yummy brownies. I’ve yet to actually make brownies, crazy huh?
Is Murphey a Bischon Freiche (not sure that’s spelt correctly, but you get the idea, right? My fella, the giant man-baby’s mother has a Bischon. They’re such witty, clever little dogs. :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog today, it’s great to meet other UK bloggers too. I’m from Nottingham. Have a great week.

Hi Lisa! Thanks for stopping by :) Yepp Murphy is a Bichon Frise, he is awesome. Has such a great little personality on him. We like him anyway. He couldn’t quite master the ‘paw’ trick as his so small he kept falling over on the wood flooring if he lifted one paw!!
Thanks for hosting at Sweet 2 Eat and it is definitely great to meet other bloggers from the UK. Keep in touch xx
